Bubbling Mud In The Waimangu Valley, Slurping And Puffing Like Boiling Porridge.  Here Was The Waimangu Geyser, Which Used To Erupt Regularly, Hurling Boiling Water, Mud And Large Rocks Up To 500 Meters Into The Air.  It Is Now Quiescent, Except For Its Furiously Boiling Pool.

Rotorua, 938 ft Above Sea Level And Sitting On A Volcano Which Boils Mud And Hisses Steam Constantly, Is One Of The Worlds Remarkable Places.
